    Compression testing question

Going to check compression and wondered what to do about fuel during test. I know toermove coil wire and have seen recommendations to disconnect electric fuel pump. What, if any thing to do if I have a mechanical fuel pump? Thanks all.

I don't do anything...this is an updraft carb engine. We are not talking high fuel pressure of fuel injected engines. Snug that compression gauge fitting tight so that you don't loose compression around the threads.
