Lightbulb

if I lived in Canada, I can tell you the $40 premium is still worth it.
When Neil turned me on to that stuff 10 years ago, I freaked out at how it suddenly solved all my problems with brightwork in a cold (45°F) garage. You use a capful in a quart. I still have the pint I bought 10 years ago.

Another one bites the dust!

Alternator is in and putting out 14.2 volts. The ammeter is working correctly, however why they put an ammeter with at +- 60 amp reading on this engine is kinda weird, but whatever. Per one suggestion, I will probably run the alternator directly to the battery and replace the ammeter with a voltmeter. Oh and the alternator did bolt right up with no issues. Thanks again for all of the help. Now I discovered a battery switch issue that I need to figure out. You may be hearing back from me soon. Fairwinds and Happy Thanksgiving!

That could possibly explain what happened to your old alternator.
