Moyer Marine is pleased to introduce the latest entry in new line of products dedicated to care and maintenance of the Atomic 4 engine:
These videos nominally run about 10-15 minutes in length and focus on problems and tasks commonly encountered. They are professionally produced in the quality you have come to expect from MMI's instructional materials and are available in two formats - WMV for PC users and MP4 for Mac users.
This video tech tip download will walk you through the basic steps of setting the ignition timing on your Atomic 4, starting with the critical step of finding #1 top dead center. Motors with improperly set timing will run poorly and may not start at all. For this reason, keeping your Atomic 4 properly timed is a must. Video length: 10:08.
These video clip downloads are only available in our online catalog. Download instructions are provided when the item is purchased online.
The PC version of the new timing video is here; the Mac version is here.
You can preview the PC version at this link. The Mac version is at this one.
iPad users can download the Mac version to their desktop/laptop, import the file to iTunes and then sync it to the iPad.
More of these mini-videos are on the way and will be announced shortly. If you have suggestions for subject matter, please do share them with us.
