Throttle lever arm replacement?

Looking for a replacement for a throttle lever arm which connects to the throttle cable. Throttle lever shaft looks like 1/2" and lever arm is 4" long end-to-end. Cast aluminum... really?? This is the original from my '77 P30 -- no idea who the manufacturer is. I McGuyvered a temporary replacement, but it's just temporary until I can find a suitable replacement. Checking a few small engine repair shops... Recommendations?

Picture doesn't seem to be displaying in this post, but can be viewed here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/16qr...ew?usp=sharing

Checking with some local small engine/yard equipment repair shops and also with Sealand Power Distributors. It's a simple part but may be tough to find a replacement without replacing the entire control. I made a temporary replacement out of oak which I'll glass over after a test fit. I also have some GRP with which I could make a stronger replacement. (GRP would be way more secure than the cast aluminum original).

Ahhhh, sorry. I obviously mis-understood.

Your idea of a GRP replacement sounds like a good one IMHO.
Let us know how it works out.
