cooling systems choice
I'm replacing a 67 engine FWC with a 77 engine which will be FWC. My question is, what is the consensus on the better type of cooling system to use, the old style or the new style with FWC? I have all the parts for both systems.

This question may spark a debate.
I have a new system with FWC. I use the original thermostat. The bypass loop is original with the addition of a valve, just in case. It runs at 180, and occasionally creeps towards 190. All is good. No problems in 17 years. |
