Starter, early model, new rebuilt - Moyer Marine Atomic 4 Community

I bought a rebuilt early model starter from Moyer to use in turning over a candidate engine we wanted to purchase. The engine ended up having no compression and we did not buy it. We then bought a late model engine that I am currently rebuilding to replace the late model in our boat. So I have no use for the starter I purchased. It has about one minute of total cranking time on the starter and is in the same nice shape I purchased it from Moyer. I am asking $180, this includes ground shipping to the lower 48 states.

WHy don't you return it to Moyer?

You can't return starters to Moyer. I can get $100 as a core.

I would speak directly with Don Possibly he will let you swap it for a late model.

I think the price you ask is too high. There are better offers available so I advise you to change the sum.
