Ultrasonic Cleaning Flame Arrestor Element - Safe?

The flame arrestor element has some pretty stubborn gunk left over after carb cleaner spray and soaking in Mineral Spirits. I don’t think you’re supposed to try to scrub between the fragile fins, but I’ve been wondering about putting it through a cycle in my ultrasonic cleaner. I’m worried the vibration might damage the element.

Anyone tried this successfully or otherwise? If not, any speculative advice? Am I being too much of a neat freak? The thing is mostly clear of debris but I was wanting that like new state.

Can't see how it would hurt. The thing is all metal!
I would avoid compressed air or a pressure washer - those fins are relatively delicate.
