Best place To Drain The Oil From?

Hi, I've owned my Northern29/A4 boat for the past 12 yrs and have always sucked the used oil out the dipstick hole. I have a hand pump and seem to get most of the oil out without too much effort with a warm engine. The pump has a hard extender which I push down as far as it allows me. I have heard at least one other suggestion made on where to draw out the oil...

From Neil..."Extract the old oil with the engine fully warmed up (contaminates in solution, thinner to extract) through the 3/4" NPT pipe plug low on the manifold side" <--where exactly is that fitting?

Any other suggestions on a better place to get even more of the sludge out?

PS: Some suggest flushing with some diesel (gas?) to further liquify it? How much to use and is that added to the already warm oil via the oil filler, or is the engine run after the diesel has been added?

Thanks!
DonC

The 3/4 plug is located between the carb and fuel pump on the lower exhaust manifold side of the engine.

Please see picture. It's why the plug exists and also where the Moyer oil drain kit attaches.
