Where to find (and what is it exactly) this part?

    Hey everybody,

Weird title, but maybe somebody can point me in the right direction. I am about to redo my entire exhaust system and I think I found most parts here in the shop, but I am struggling with this part below - any clues?

    Happy Friday,
    Sascha

That part might be non existent. If you note the size of the fitting coming out of exhaust manifold, that is the typical size used. So take it off from the manifold and go to a hardware store and have the guy there in plumbing check the thread and find you a fitting. Bronze is best and generally a straight up or 45 degree will do. I don't put a 90 degree there because that is a typical plugging point on the manifold if things get dirty. I believe the hose size I have on my engine there is 5/8 ID but that would have to be checked. You will also have to pay attention to the fitting on the other end of that hose you have in the pic...both ends, what ever size they are, should be the same or you will need more plumbing to tie it all in.

The hose you have seems to be over-sized. My engine has a hose to fit the fitting installed, appears smaller diameter than yours. (as mentioned might be 5/8) I used regular heater hose on mine but that is exhaust hose he's using there. I can't remember ever seeing a small exhaust hose coming off the manifold water outlet so I think that is why he put in an extra fitting to increase hose diameter. Probably couldn't get exhaust hose that small. It shouldn't be necessary.

Ohh ha, I somehow didn't even see this! Makes sense! Thank you.

The "normal" part looks fine on the picture, but just for references, what would it be called?

      Thank you again!
