Fuel Instruments
My recent adventure with fixing vapor lock got me interested in what the rest of you can see regarding your fuel feed.
Fuel pressure visible from the helm would include the low fuel pressure warning light in the Moyer EWDS, a gauge, or a combination thereof. Last edited by joe_db; 07-12-2021 at 10:53 AM. |

my 2 cents
My fuel system, shut off at tank feeds Racor feeds mechanical fuel pump feeds bulkhead mounted SS 1/8" ball valve to F/P gage "tee'd into valve exit port" to the carb.
I disconnected my fuel level gage intentionally and did not use the polishing filter. I ran the engine a lot so the fuel was always good and checked with a dipstick. Don't like electricity near my fuel except in the combustion chamber . Dave Neptune |

I have actually never heard of a fuel level or pressure sender causing an explosion.
