    Avgas is 100% ethanol free all the time forever, if it has ethanol in it you cannot legally use it in an airplane.
    This really annoyed everyone that paid good money to get their planes certified to run on car gas* and then had no way to get any they could use

    * there are plenty of low compression airplanes around that can run fine on car gas, they originally ran on 80 octane avgas that has long since disappeared.
