Problem after Fuel Pump Rebuild
I rebuilt my Fuel pump, with a Moyer kit. The kit and instructions are great. I put the fuel pump on the boat and it is no pumping.
What I found: The pump works great when the manual primer is actuated. With the pump off the engine, I can push the cam actuator lever half way in (against one spring) before It moves the diaphragm. It does not seem to have much travel. Is this normal? Both springs seem to be the same size and stiffness. Does someone have a detailed blowup of the pump so I can verify I put it back together correctly? thanks for any help. Dave |
