YOU CAN'T AFFORD THIS FABULOUS 1971 GRAMPIAN 30 sloop

She's in the water ready to sail in Pasadena MD near Annapolis. Great potential live aboard. Smooth running Moyer maintained Atomic 4. Great starter yacht. Owned for 30 years and found her unsinkable.

40' tall mast rig. Bruce 35# anchor, Danforth 20# anchor, 45' chain, 100' anchor line. Garmin chart plotter, compass, depth sounder, new mast mounted radio antenna, new windex. Good mainsail, furling genoa, and working jib. Backstay adjustment. Extra winches on spar. 2 jib winches 1 main winch - all two speed. "Igniter" brand electronic ignition with appropriate coil from Moyer Marine (no resistor needed). Rebuilt exhaust system. All standing and running rigging in good condition. Electronic tiller pilot. Teak toe rail and cockpit grate. 20 gallon fresh water capacity. New Raritan head. Y valve with 20 gallon holding tank. New fire extinguisher. 4 life vests. Horseshoe throw ring. Main sail cover. 3 custom winch covers. 4 fenders. wooden piling fender. Galley includes 2 burner propane canister camp stove, plenty of storage space. Huge ice box accessible from both galley and cockpit. New custom slip covers on all cushions. New interior port light coverings, and hatch screens. I have to ask - exactly how did you discover the boat won't sink? Did you try?

You're right, I can't afford it.

Sounds like a good boat deal. I think what the owner means is that for 30 years he has maintained his engine with parts, manual and forum assistance by the wonderful Moyer Marine. What better recommendation? Besides, the slip covers alone are worth it. They make you want to say, "Ahoy!"
I too, would love to know how he found her unsinkable. Must be a good story to tell on a stormy night by a warm fire. Indoors. On shore.
