Minor Upgrade Issue

Bill,

I have noticed that since the main moyermarine.com site was taken down, many of the "decoration" images are missing on the moyermarineforum.com site.

For example, the icon for "goto first new post" is missing, and replaced with text to that effect.

Similarly, all tool icons on the post editor are missing and replaced with text.

I suspect some reference(s) somewhere in the forum's code are still pointed to "moyermarine.com" instead to "moyermarineforum.com"

I just had that in the editor in my previous post and this one.. none of the icons above the text window are there.. maybe some text.. but only the smileys are there.

For me, all that and each page takes 15-20 sec to fully load.

Edward, You are absolutely correct. I just looked at some of the code from the editor and found this:

It is trying to go back to the nonfunctioning site to load images.

We're working on it. The problem apparently went unnoticed until we killed off the old server.

Yes, thanks for all the hard work. Just an FYI, I've not been able to get to some old, archived post when searching from Google. I'll look next time it happens to see if the redirector is still pointed at the old server

That's a link from a previous post. As expected, it won't work but this one does:

My only suggestion is a forwarding script tied to the lead URL tag, probably in xHTML, or if you're as old as me, PERL?
