flushing with a nozzle
While flushing the block the other day, I noticed that if i use a normal garden hose nozzle that you squeeze, and has threads on the end, and attach that to the water inlet instead of using the 3/8" ball valve, I got more flow with a stronger pulse, which it seems would do a better job of flushing.

Just a pressure water flush. I wouldn't run acid through a garden hose nozzle. I would prefer not to use acid, if it can be avoided.I'll try vinegar first.
