throttle cable
Today my throttle cable knob broke off as I was getting ready to fire up the A4. Rusted out after a mere 52 years. I was able to adjust the connection to the carb end of the cable enough to get another inch at the control end, then use a vise grip to vary the rpms. Thankful it didn't happen under worse conditions!
Wondering where I can get a new cable and knob FAST in BC. Did anyone find a suitable replacement? Thinking I will replace the whole cable and a new knob. Thanks!

Have you tried Western Marine or Rekord Marine?

NAPA
Thanks, Greg - I found a 60" cable with a knob at NAPA for $15.I think that will be just long enough.

I was gonna say, go to Napa. They have everything. Found a suitable throttle cable there 2 seasons ago and I’m about to go back for a new choke cable.
