Used Atomic 4 Parts

Hi everyone,

I just rebuilt an a-4 and I have a bunch of extra parts.
I have an oil pan, exhaust manifold, accessory drive, flywheel housing and cover, carburetor, valve cover, crossover tube(old style), head and exhaust manifold studs, exhaust elbow and many other parts.

Let me know if you are interested in any of these or know of any salvage places that would be interested in them in Southern California.

Thanks!

Smile keep some of it

Welcome aboard. If you have a rebuilt engine in your boat that you are currently using I'd be hanging onto allot of those parts.

- suggest it might be a good idea to hang onto exhaust manifold, accessory drive, carburetor and head.

What do they say? Spend enough time rebuilding things (car, boat, house, engine) and eventually you'll have enough parts to build another one. Personally, between the basement and the shed, I've got most of the parts for at least another engine - but missing good blocks and a spare reversing gear.
But, if the 'For Sale' section of this BB isn't a good place to find stuff, I don't know where to go. eBay is OK for what it is, but the same distributor cap and starter solenoid seem to show up again and again. Never the points, condenser, or wires - just the d..n cap!
Maybe what the board needs is a 'Parts Wanted' section. Then us hoarders can go through our stock and see what we can unload!

Why are you removing and essentially discarding the A-4? What kind of boat?

Used parts

64 Triton,

Howdy, wondering if you still have any of your spare parts left? Where in So Cal are you?
