Well, the head is now back from the machine shop along with the manifold and few miscellaneous parts for cleaning. Total machine shop cost so far is $260 (including the crank work).

Ken and I had a long caucus today... but the Amish One have blessed my oil pump as being the on correct side of the bell curve of "good". So only the $83 testing fee.

... and the result of the caucus is I now have $2600ish of cool new parts heading my direction.

I'll post some pics of the painting tomorrow, with some suggestions.
