Can one replace the crankcase vent hose (which turns down to the carburator air intake) and install a longer hose and connect it into the bilge blower (suck) duct. Fumes end up in the bilge anyway,...

Figured it out.

Duh. . . The noise I am hearing is the valves lifting. In my limited experience I have only worked with hydrolic lifters which are much quieter. :o -Steve

I am thinking that when the thermostat is open half way, that the water from the "T" will able to go through the thermostat "backwards" into the head and out the temperature sending unit port.
