Update:

Had the starter rebuilt by a local shop and they did an amazing job. Even repainted the thing for me. Looks brand new.

But.... I just reinstalled it.... and the problem remains!!......

Update

Had new pressure gauge wired wrong. now reads 20psi cold at idle which is a good sign. Still burning quit a bit of oil out the back.

Will take it out later under power and report back !
