You words were spot on. My adjustment was too tight and that cabinet was in the way. I removed the cabinet as Sastanley suggested and was able to clearly see what was going on. It...

Why doesn't forward work?

I do not have much forward thrust in my A4 powered 1979 Catalina 30. I can putt around the Marina, but can't overcome any weather or current (Shoot! I barely overcome a tug of the dock line)....

Does Oil Matter?

How does the engine oil impact the performance of the forward gear? If the engine oil is dirty will this reduce the clutch effectiveness?
