Found it! Seems to be sleeping through a small...
Found it! Seems to be sleeping through a small “crack” about an inch and a quarter long in the side of the pan under where the water pump is mounted. I guess the PO let a water pump leak for a bit...

The float is set to be parallel with the carb...
The float is set to be parallel with the carb body when it's upside down. I would consider it perfectly level.
I am backing the idle mixture screw out as I am making it leaner.
