Found loose screw in carburetor

Removing the flame arrester I found this small screw lying loose in the mouth of the carburetor. The photo shows the tip of a pen for scale. Engine seems to run fine. 3 hr trip coming up. Advise?

How Long for Alternator to slow charging rate?

Hi all,

My battery was not charged all winter, but started the engine just fine. I added distilled water to the battery and launched the boat. In last couple weeks engine has run about 3 hours....
