Eliminate the possibility the switch is faulty...I had the similar problem and chased everything for days and it turned out to be the switch that would turn the starter, but not make connection to...

Ignition Switch??

Another possibility, from experience...check the continuity of the switch in the "run" position. May have continuity in the "start" position to turn the starter but none in the "run".

So far

Fuel cover loosened..will try new condensor and try again. Coil new last fall...one off of “the list”.

Bypassing the Temperature/oil pressure warning system

I have mechanical fuel pump rebuilt three years ago. I stops like turning the key off. I do not have fuel pressure gauge, but will have to add one. Is there a link for installing coil voltage meter?

Do not count out a developing "water in the fuel"...

Do not count out a developing "water in the fuel" problem...from my experience with our motor...at high speed it would change slightly in RPMs and sound slightly different...Did not make much of it...

Check your key switch to rule that out...speaking from experience after days of what you are doing. may have connection in start position, but none in run position

Gasket only or Gasket and "sealer"

I am replacing the both of reversing gear housing and the accessory drive gaskets.. The last time it was done there was some type of sealer used...is it necessary to use sealer? thanks, pck

In-line fuel flow meter/gauge

Is there a fuel meter/gauge i can install on the fuel line to serve as a fuel monitor/meter/gauge that is compatible with the A-4?
I do not have a gauge in my tank, nor anyway of know how much...

something else to check

double check ignition switch, may have conductivity in the crank/start position but be "dead" in the run position...that is what happened to us, spent days tracking everything else...your symptoms...

no spark...

check the ignition switch...spent weeks hunting for no start even when there was fuel and spark, turned out that ignition made connection in cranking position, but dead in the run position...replaced...
