Brenda does the admin stuff now, but I whisper in her ear when necessary.

Give me your phone # and when I'm in Long Beach we ca set up a time to get the books to you. I have a few tidbits I'll bring along in case there of value to you. Would like to see them get into "needing" hands. Like to see your Elkie too. Just traded my Hemi Drag Pak for a Colorado Dura Max, even supprised myself.

Hi Dave, moyers catalog has subtext on the propshaft couplers that say not reccomended for vdrives? Although my boat has a coupler just like the one on the site. I want to buy, but I'm not sure.

    Hi, Dave:

Got your message. Don't know of anything unusual going on, but will keep an eye out. The forum software we use is very popular, and the bad guys are constantly pecking at it. We had a few attempted registrations from VietNam over the last couple of weeks. I check the IP address of every single applicant, and there are a few other safeguards built in as well. We try to keep the place spotless.

Now if I could just rein in Hanley.....

Simon, did he have water incursion? Is it the plunger/piston stuck in the bottom of the cavity? Has he cracked the carb open and what is he soaking in.

Been out for many days as m work computer took a dump and my password was compromised. Just need to get it fixed. I may have it back on line this afternoon. I just saw your message this morning because I came up the hill. Been staying on the boat as it is closer to work.
Perhaps a few answers and a phone call will help.

    Regards Dave _/) _/)

I know live in the mountains and am still moving in and adjusting.

I have a friend who is struggling with a marine carb issue and I immediately thought of you. Its a Carter AFB on a Mercruiser 7.4, 1995
The accelerator pump shaft is frozen wide open. He's soaked it for two weeks, still stuck. He's wondering what next - a rebuilt carb is $400, new $800. Any suggestions gratefully appreciated.

Scuppers, I made a new wooden one last year when I rewired the positive side of everytning to the panels and a complete rewire of the engine. Heck even my lights are brighter. I have tried to play on the Ericson forum but about everyother time I go on I need to reset or get a new password~tired of it.
