Finding neutral
I ave just gone through my reversing gear. I have a real solid forward. My reverse is just about at the end of the cable travel. I can feel where neutral should be because I can easily rotate the shaft in either direction; but when I start the engine leaving the reverse gear lever where neutral should be (no resistance in either direction) the shaft spins quickly in that position. With the engine running I can find no place where the reverse gear lever slows down the shaft spin significantly. I am happy with my forward and reverse and feel that my cable is functioning correctly, but I sure would like to get a better neutral. Thanks, Bob
