Whoa, hang on. You're using a direct read oil pressure gauge with rubber hose?
I don't see how you can get a proper reading that way. It should be solid copper line. Either that, or replace the direct read gauge with one that uses an electric sender. |

Dead right. Direct read means just that. Get it as close to the block as possible using metal to carry the oil where necessary. Note that you may get slightly different readings depending on which port you are reading.
