Circuit Breaker for Fuel Pump / OPSS?
Anyone using a 5-amp circuit breaker instead of an in-line fuse?

They both do the same job so it would just be the difference in the wiring run.

Thanks Dave. If your wiring comment relates to the breaker being on the DC panel remotely, I was thinking of making a bracket and mounting the breaker right in the area of the fuel pump same as the existing ATC fuse holder I have now.
Reason for the breaker is they are available ignition protected, while the ATC fuse holder is not .... unless I get something like a Blue Sea Safety Hub.

Good idea. Do take care in mounting in a somewhat cool area as "heat" is a big factor in the tripping, shouldn't really be an issue though.
