long pause in operation and a puddle of oil from the exhaust

I last had yKnot out in early October for a run that had the A4 turning over for about 40 minutes on the way back in. Its now Nov 7th, and I had to run it to get to the lift out for the winter.
1) it was about -1 (celcius) last night,

2) She did *not* want to start as I'm used to -- usually one crank, full choke, about 5 or 10 seconds in "start" and it would fire up, rough and awkward for about 30 seconds, close choke and things level off and slowly evens up over about 4 or 5 minutes. This morning, after about 4 attempts to get her started as I usually would above, I closed the through hull intake, opened the throttle about half way and kept trying. On the 8th attempt, holding the starter on for almost 20/25 seconds it caught, I backed the throttle down, closed the choke, and opened the through hull.

Issue: the first 'glob' that came out the exhaust was *huge* relatively - I thought the bilge pump had kicked in, but the belt of water wasn't "glub" more like a gussssshhhh... And, it left a 3 foot diameter oily slick on the surface (which was quite flat as there was 0 wind and no ripples). Ensuing ejections from the exhaust did not add to the oily slick, and I let her warm up. I motored over to the pump out to get ready for haul out and left the motor running for about a total of 70 minutes, and did not see any additional 'oily' ejections or slicks on the water surface.

Basically, should I be concerned that having left her sitting for some time and starting in cold weather I'm putting some oil on the water, or in these circumstances, would this be considered normal?
Is there anything indicated that I can do to mitigate this in the future? I would like to be as ecologically friendly as I can and I suspect things like this are frowned on in general these days....

You probably "just "blew out" some of the accumulated residue of oil in the exhaust. Not a real concern especially sine she ran clean afterward.
