Moving up to a slightly larger vessel/engine combo!

Well guys - the deal is almost completed...looks like I will have my hands full with a slightly different vessel/engine combination.

Gonna try and hang onto the C&C Corvette - but my time will now be divided between two boats and two marinas!

Well it's gas so why not an A-4 for a genset.

Could be a good Segway for this sight to play with as all of the engine functions are basically the same.

Way cool to be cruising in too.

What do you mean "moving up slightly"? More like moving up a lot in my book.
The nautical equivlant of a mistress and a wife.
One for routine use and one to sport around with.
Sounds like a high maintenance life 2 me. I can hardly keep up with one. (women & boat)

From an Atomic-4 to a Firedome-8.
Very nice.

I guess you already know what highball means then?

Original twin Chrysler 331 marine hemis completely rebuilt from the crankshaft up with no expense spared and 100hrs on the clock...not to mention an original two cylinder electrical generator motor that works perfectly.

You can get parts for anything these days!

It does have the original two cylinder electrical generator motor Dave...but I was thinking that A4 generator angle too.

I bet she will deliver pretty fair fuel economy as long as you stay off WOT?

Yea, I figured a train man would know. I also think there was some sort of instrument on old mallets that had a sight glass or something that had different balls to show pressure or something. Probably my imagining.

I had a Segway for awhile, & the State bought it for me. It drove the campus police nuts. They actually tried to charge me with opperating a motor vehicle in a non legal manner, inside a state university. That was fun.

Back to boats. Very sweet lines. I did a bimini dodger combo for a guy last fall. His boat was at Beaton Brothers Boatworks. Their yard was full of boats similar to yours, but all of them were in stages of someone dream of a restoration. Yours on the other hand seems to have traversed the vast space between dreams and reality.
It's nice to see that some of these dreams make it.

I ran a Hatteras with twin Chryslers when I was 16 for a sailing school. At WOT it was like dumping gas overboard with a couple big buckets

Sight glass for water level in the boiler...very, very important!

Well boys - here she is...twin Chrysler Hemis sound real nice!

Brought her across Lake Erie from Sandusky the other evening single handed - choked up a bucket load of cash for Revenue Canada ( )...but now she is mine!

Let the headaches begin.
