Clevis, turnbuckle, shackle, whatever...for trans cable

When we pulled our A4 from our Catalina 30, we had to cut the cable end clevis for the shift rod. Now, with everything back in and almost ready to go, I still can't find the right piece of hardware to attach the shift lever to the shift cable. Does anyone know where to get these things? specifically I'm looking for a rod end clevis that will fit on the 1/4 inch threaded shift cable end and fit around the 1/2" shift lever. What do you all use?

I couldn't find one either. I ended up buying a standard narrow clevis end that fits onto the threaded cable end, drilled the holes larger to fit a 1/4-inch bolt, then heated each of the 2 sides red hot with a MAPP gas torch and carefully bent each one in 2 places (so that the holes would align) enough to fit onto the shift lever. I used several washers on each side of the shift lever to keep the clevis centered, since I made it a bit too wide. The bolt I used was stainless with a nylon locknut. So far it works great.

Here is the source for all the control linkage stuff you will ever need. If they do not have it, you more than likely do not need it. You can order online.
