boat issues for spring

Hi again

I have an old columbia 31 and am in need of new(used hopefully) side mount controls.
Here is a link to what I believe I'm looking for:

http://www.seastarsolutions.com/wp-c...mjb-series.pdf

question is ...can someone recommend somewhere I might find this used ?
$600.00 seems a bit stiff for a new one.

Also, ...last year I had real issues with the idle. The motor (atomic4) ran great at speed but stalls at high idle. Any ideas ??

thanks in advance for any advice

Not sure where you are located, but try Josh at Anchors and Oars in Grasonville, MD (Kent Narrows). He parts out old boats and has all manner of stuff.

You may also run across a similar Marmac control unit like was installed on the early Tartan 30s. Construction similar to the Teleflex unit, using those split plastic bearings. Should have similar corrosion/binding issues, which respond well to disassembly & cleanup. Main difference is that the Marmac had removable control levers.
