    zenith carb

Percolation Control: available for high-temperature environments

This is listed as an option for the 68 series zenith carb.
Has it ever been used on the atomic 4?

Not aware of it ever being an issue on the A4, probably due to the water cooled exhaust manifold.

If you ever got the engine BOX hot enough to percolate fuel the carb would be the last of your worries. As you would have fuel vapors and probably not enough air moving OUT of the box (adding to the heat) and a possible BOOM .
