Posting Problem?

Hi Don,
Just tried to post a general interest blurb about a water intrusion problem I had.
Wondering if I have lost message, as I ommitted to click on the "close thread" in Management box, before clicking "submit new thread"?
Got a message that I wasn't logged on also, but I certainly was.
Sorry, relatively new to your wonderful board.

You may only close those threads you have initiated. This option is available under the Thread Tools drop-down list, but you'll only see it if you're viewing your own thread.

Once you close a thread, no additional responses are accepted.

To post a new thread or a respond to an open thread, you should click on the "Submit New Thread" or "Submit Reply" button, as appropriate, after entering the content of the message in the box.

I'm not exactly sure what happened in your case, but I hope this clarifies the use of the "Close Thread" option, which I would think you would rarely use.

Hope this helps.

Bill
