Removal of the sediment bowl tip
Maybe everyone knows this, but anytime I removed the sediment bowl I always spilled gas no matter how careful I was. I cut a 16oz water bottle in half to catch the gas spilling from the bowl. I unscrew the nut and swing the bail aside while still holding the bowl in place and then just let the bowl drop into the bottle. You get a little spillage, but almost all of the gas stays in the bottle.
Hope this helps someone! |

Just An Idea
An oil adsorb cloth will sop up any gasoline spillage. Maybe you put one under the work area to adsorb any spillage?

Luckily I still have a Grand Daughter in diapers, I tend to "borrow" a few new ones from her, she doesn't mind
They work and are handy to have. later, Chapster5 |

I've learned to work with the premise that I'm going to spill some fuel. I put a small towel under the work area, and hang it on the lifeline once the spill is over.
