New to the forum, new to the a4

Hi there,

I’ve been a life long sailor, but this is the first boat I’ve owned with an A4. The boat is a 1967 Pearson Triton, with a late model A4. I’ve had the boat 3 years, and until recently the A4 has never given me any problems, but now it is starting to act up and I’m realizing some blind spots in my knowledge.
