    Bilge fiberglass has holes?

So I noticed this a couple of weeks ago when vacuuming the water out of the bilge. You can see small holes in between the weave of the fiberglass. Does this need to be addressed? What could of caused this?

Looks like a classic case of a slightly dry layup. Ignore it.

Looks like you could eat out of that bilge.

May look like that but I sure wouldn't, I haven't even cleaned it. Just vacuumed the water out with my ShopVac.

Another bilge question...the fiberglass engine pan seems to have a solid front so any water coming in from the aft of the boat runs under the pan. Was this how Pearson designed this?
