Looking for a good guy in Avila

Hello, how’s it all going? Given the time since your post you may very well be a good guy yourself. I’ve recently purchased a beautiful Ranger 33 in Avila. The A4 was running great when I bought it in December, but now I’m having issues getting it started. I mistakenly hired a mechanic who wasn’t experienced with A4s. We did a cheap revamping of the fuel system, installing an electric pump and inline filter before the mechanical pump. Now the mechanical pump(original 1976) is leaking badly and I’m feeling the need to replace it with a Moyer rebuild. It’s been a lot to take on for someone with little mechanical experience. I’m trying to get the R33 over to my slip in Morro Bay every soon. Anyways, just thought I’d reach out to a local. It would be great to meet you.
