    A new Afourian MVP

Please join me in congratulating Capnward on his promotion to the esteemed rank of Afourian MVP, with all the rights and privileges appropriate and appurtenant thereto.

Capnward has been a forum member for more than six years, and his input (both questions and answers) has always been thoughtful and productive.

His contributions are acknowledged with our thanks.

    Bill

      A4s rock!

Wow! Such an honor! This means a lot, coming from you guys. Thank you Bill and Don, and fellow Afourians. I'm just another guy struggling to learn his engine. The help I have received on this forum and at Moyer Co. has enabled me to make a little bit of money doing what I love. The least I can do in return is contribute by passing along what little I have learned. It has gotten to the point that I don't want a bigger boat, because I would have to give up the Atomic Four.
To those Atomic Four owners out there who are intimidated by the mysterious workings of their little beast, I say become a student and your fears will decrease. I speak from experience. These are great, simple and dependable engines if you are dedicated to understanding them. Take care of your engine, and it will take care of you.
      Happy sailing,
      Ward

              Capnward,
Welcome to the ranks - we can always use another paddle on this barge! Of course, with the honor and esteem comes the responsibility.
At least, that was the way I felt after I was so anointed (why me?). No more 'shooting from the hip' - I felt the need to make my posts helpful, responding the questions asked (and unasked). Need a photo? Need a link? Look it up and include it.
Happy to have another MVP sharing the burden, even though some of us seem to walk in different directions at times...
