Good News Story
Just thought I'd throw out a good news story, or at least good for me. I've now put on about 5 hours of motoring time on my Atomic 4 (early version). Running without a problems of any kind. After replacing the starter, the accessory drive, the Racor filter, the alternator bearings and the head gasket, the motor is quiet, ie. no more knocking or ticking. Lots of raw water flow, oil pressure at 40 when cold and 20 when hot and idling, temp steady at 140 degrees. My confidence is finally restored. Who could ask for anything more. I just pray that it stays this way. Thanks all for the help in getting me this far.
