It was so neat today to look over my thread from the beginning.
Still have the boat, but hasn't been in the water for 2 years.
It needs some paint and seam filler.
Engine needs to be loved on as well.
Salt bilge with loose stuffing box& leaking raw water pump is a trouble maker on a white painted engine.
Lack of use kills everything as well.

Kinda thinking of building a light version of this boat,
just to see how much more speed I can get from it.
Or build a Maryland "dovetail" or also called draketail to put the atomic in.
Long and way narrow.

Draketails are very rare here, and they always draw a crowd wherever they're tied up. Very special boats!

For the uninformed, search on Hooper Island draketails.
