It's a cool idea.

My solution has been the opposite. My battery terminals have exactly one high current wire on them each. It leads to a nearby high current Blue Seas buss strip where all of the leads that used to be on the battery terminate.

The only exception's to this 'one-wire' rule are the thin, voltage sense wires used by the smart regulator and battery monitor, which must be directly on the battery post, and the battery temp sensor, which must be thermally in contact with the battery post.

Cool idea, poorly executed

Terminal Tamer
1. The copper bus bar is not tin plated. Once it’s developed a copper oxide or copper sulphate corrosion coating, it’s resistance will increase.
2. They offer insulating covers. These covers are not included, so you would have to order and pay extra for them. In the picture they look like cheap, flimsy junk.
3. The individual circuits connected to the battery using this are not fused at the battery.
4. No current rating is listed.
5. Price: $60

Blue Sea 5024 ST Blade Battery Terminal Mount Fuse Block Kit
This is similar (https://www.bluesea.com/products/5024), but:
1. Both positive and negative bars are tin coated
2. Insulated covers are included. These covers are substantial. They say the cover meets ABYC/USCG insulation requirements, and is Ignition Protected – it meets ISO 8846 and SAE J1171 for use in a gasoline engine compartment, where many of us have our batteries.
3. Individual circuits are fused.
4. Each of the four circuits can be fused up to 30 amps, for a maximum of 100 amps on the bus bar.
5. Price: $31

That terminal tamer looks like something from a home electrical place that will not last a week in salt water. IMHO
