I see in the early A4 Photos that the breather tubing is of the metal Flexible type.Anyone know where I can get a replacement. it about 3/4 in outside diameter. I prefer not to modify with the rubber hose. Electrical conduit will not work.

I’m surprised that you’ve had no response yet.
The A4 parts book shows the OEM part as, “Tube, breather 260784”. No other info, such as size or material, is given. Westerbeke, who handles Universal parts, lists it as “Not Available”.
A quick web search found 3/4” stainless duct, “SU1 Stainless Corrugated Unbraided Hose”, 2 ft length, for $18 from Hosecraft U.S.A.
