Not sure which model it is (maybe PV-300) but seems the V-drive would be also made by Paragon, yes?
Also, the MMI manual is indispensable if you own an A4. Highly recommended and worth its weight! |

Almost certainly the V-drive is a Walter RV-10D. Look for a plate on the side. I have the manual if you need it.

Thanks for the reply. first , how is it lubricated where do you ck the level?
Next , the engine oil is shared with the clutch/transmition? Since the engine is in the reverse of most installs, ( see pic I hope this goes), there is a breather right over the clutch, just like the one over the flywheel on the other end of the engine, can I add the oil here ? |

The engine oil is shared between the engine and the "transmission" (it's actually not a full transmission, just a reversing gear). The oil is NOT, however, shared with the V-drive.
Engine oil can be added via the breather cap located on the rectangular reversing-gear cover. Much easier than trying to get to the flywheel end of the engine. The v-drive has a small knobbed cap that is the dipstick for it's oil. Oil can be added via this dipstick hole. The V-drive only holds about a pint. It should be filled with one of the following: 1) Straight SAE 30-weight oil 2) Exxon Spartan EP-68 Gear Oil 3) APG-80 Gear Oil. DO NOT USE SAE 80 Motor oil or any multi-grade oil when filling the V-drive!
