Old boat New owner
Worked on the interior of the boat today. Removed the old galley. That cold box thing was bigger than I thought. Saved a few pieces, (sink, molding, faucet) but threw away the rest.
Still need to remove old gas tank, fresh water tank, and black water tank. All the tanks are old and un-usable. Here are some pis of boat and A4. |

That A4 certainly looks like it's been around the block a few times! I love how these old A4s can look like decomposing relics from an archaeological dig, yet still run beautifully.
I'm sure you're developing an enormous to-do list on this boat, but somewhere in there, maybe near the top, should be a muriatic acid soak of the water passages. Easy and quick to do, Moyer provides all the details. Worked wonders on my A4. Warning, do it at night so your marina neighbors don't see the bucketfulls of rust and scale spitting out the exhaust!
