Indigo FWC
Hello,
My husband is installing an Indigo FWC unit and wants to change the overflow tank to a smaller size then the one sent by Indigo. Is this ok? Secondly, does it matter how far away the tank is from the heat exchanger? Thanks! P.S. he's planning on doing this tomorrow, 5/5. |

The only harm in trying a smaller overflow tank is you might spill a little coolant if it overflows. No harm in that... Go ahead and experiment.
I don't think I've ever heard of a maximum or minimum distance for the tank. Last edited by msauntry; 05-04-2013 at 09:55 PM. |

I would pose these questions to the manufacturer of the FWC kit - he has a website and tends to be very responsive to these kinds of questions.
