Machine shop in San Francisco Bay Area?

Hi all,

Does anyone have a recommendation for machine work on an A4 block in the San Francisco Bay Area? I would like to take my block to someone who has experience with A4's if possible.

Thanks for any info.

I found this tidbit in a 2007 post from Don:

Quote:
if you're referring to the San Francisco Bay Area, there is a good Atomic 4 mechanic in Sausalito by the name of Tom List who runs List Marine Services. Tom's phone number is: (415) 332-5478 and email:
listmarine@yahoo.com.
HTH.

Great! I contacted List Marine and they don't do machine work - at least they don't rebore blocks. They recommended another machine shop but I've used that shop before and they were pretty inept.

I'll check out Lloyd Engineering - Thanks!

A4 machine shop in SF

Just for information, Tom List retired several months ago and is off sailing somewhere in the Pacific. The business is now operated by long time employees and still enjoys a fine reputation.
