Transom support outboard C27

I am thinking about adding an outboard as a backup to the A4. I'm wondering what additional beefing up does the transom need to support a 9.9 hp outboard? Does anybody have any experience with beefing up the transom on a C27 inboard design.

We have a Catalina 27 and it has a A4 with a back up lift attached and it has 1/2 sefoam as a backing plate and works great..if I would have mounted it .. would have had a removable lift that slides on and off to get it out of the way when not needed ...most of the time I mount the Extra motor their just for a back up ...but it doesnt look that great ..
