looks like Permatex PermaShield will work as well. Just have to find a local supplier...

Been a while but now that the cleaned carb is back on the engine I was able to get the fuel pressure gauge and polishing filter installed. Little more hose used than I was wanting but the space is tight and this worked.

Carb cable to adjust, new wire harness and gauges all installed, time for spring commissioning

Greg, looking good..the pressure gauge instantly tells you if you have a fuel delivery problem. While 3-4 PSI seems nominal, I've seen mine run just fine as low as 1 PSI too, while motoring thru a precarious mooring field.

In that particular instance, water got in the tank from a failed o-ring in the fuel filler and the water overwhelmed the Racor so bad that it was barely passing any fuel.
