Fuel line replacement
The brass fuel line that goes from my electronic fuel pump to the carburetor is a little banged up and could be replaced. Do I understand properly that the inline fuel filter kit sold here is the ideal replacement? And if so do I need any additional fittings or sealants? Thanks much for your input Rob

Don's kit has everything you need except sealant. I like the brown permatex for fuel connections.
If you're doing this addition, you may also want to consider adding a pressure gauge at the inlet to the carb. I recommend it. Don doesn't sell the gauge kit (why not Don?) but you can easily find small 15 psi gauges on eBay. Added fittings depend on whether the gauge you buy is bottom or back mount. |
